2019-20 Senior Season: Qualified for finals and placed 14th in the 100 fly (53.96) and 24th in the 100 breast (1:01.78) at the Big Ten Championships · finished fourth in the 100 fly (56.25) at the Big Ten triple dual against Purdue and Northwestern · touched fourth in the 100 breast (1:05.77) and fifth in the 100 fly (56.67) in USC dual · notched a third place finish in the 100 fly (57.25) and a fourth place finish in the 100 breast (1:06.54) at Hawaii · placed 12th in the 200 breast (2:17.60) at the Minnesota Invite · earned a fifth place finish in the 100 fly (56.95) versus Wisconsin · finished sixth in the 100 breast (1:06.18) and seventh in the 200 breast (2:24.05) against Florida State · placed sixth in both the 100 breast (1:05.91) and the 200 breast (2:24.30) against Florida · Big Ten Distinguished Scholar · Academic All-Big Ten · Second Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2018-19 Junior Season: Academic All-Big Ten • Placed sixth in the 200 IM (2:05.71) against Purdue and Northwestern. • Took third in the 200 IM (2:08.51) against USC and Oregon State. • Finished fourth in both the 100 breast (1:06.26) and the 200 IM (2:08.57) at the Hawaii Dual. • Finished fifth in the 100 breast (1:06.56) at the Florida State Dual.

2017-18 Sophomore Season: Placed seventeenth in the 100-yard breast (1:01.35) and twenty-second in the 200-yard breast (2:15.11) after swimming 2:14.57 in prelims at the Big Ten Championships. • finished fourth in the 200 IM (2:05.74) and eighth in the 200-yard breast (2:21.30) at the Triple Dual vs Northwestern and Purdue • took fourth place in the 200-yard fly (2:07.85) and third place in the 200-yard breast (2:19.55) against Denver • finished third in the 200-yard fly (2:08.41) and seventh in the 400 IM (4:32.10) vs. Hawai'i and Drury • placed fifth in the 200-yard IM (2:04.86) and eighth in the 200-yard breast (2:19.83) at the Minnesota Invitational • took seventh place in the 200-yard fly (2:08.39), sixth in the 100-yard fly (58.54), and fifth in the 200 IM (2:07.43) vs. Florida State.

2016-17 Freshman Season: Outstanding student-athlete award • earned a 1:06.06 in the 100-yard breast against Iowa • notched a third place finish in the 200-yard IM with a 2:07.88 against Iowa • earned second place with a 2:05.63 in the 200-yard IM at the Minnesota Invitational • finished third in the 200-yard breast with a 2:21.04 at the Minnesota Invitational • improved to 1:05.27 in the 100-yard breast, earning third place, at the Minnesota Invitational • earned two first-place finishes at the Jean Freeman Invitational: 200-yard breast (2:15.94) and 200-yard IM (2:00.85) • finished second in the 100-yard breast with a 1:02.39 at the Jean Freeman Invitational • earned first place in the 100-yard fly at the Minnesota Challenge with a 58.38 • competed in three events at the Big Ten Championships: 200-yard IM (2:04.94), 200-yard breast (2:23.70), and 100-yard breast (1:04.56). 

High School/Club: Graduate of Wayzata High School, where she swam under coaches Elizabeth Hansen, Leah Foreman-Keiser and Beth Shimanski • set high school records in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.78) and 200 IM (2:01.00) • three-time Minnesota state champion in the 200 IM (2014-16) • set the Class AA record in the 200 IM in 2016 • competed at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials • earned a time of 54.98 in the 100 fly • notched a time of 55.02 in the 100 back • earned All-America and all-state honors from eighth grade to her senior year • was school MVP in 10th, 11th and 12th grade • honored as a Scholastic All-American in grades 10-12 •  participated in the NCSA meet, finishing in the top-three in the 50-fly • represented the United States in Ireland in a 2015 meet • swam for the Aquajets Swim Team under head coach Kate Lundsten.

Personal: Daughter of Merrill Preiss • has two siblings, Ashton and John • majoring in human resources.
