Competed on bars • notched a 9.775 on bars in season debut against Maryland, Northern Illinois and Winona State • earned a score of 9.800 in three straight meets from Jan. 20 to Feb. 3 • posted a season high 9.825 at Mardi Gras Invitational • had a career high 9.875 against Arizona State and had another 9.875 in Sacramento • competed in Big Ten Championships and had a 9.700 • season was cut short due to injury.

Born July 17, 1996 • daughter of Peggy Michel, a former Illinois State gymnast, and Timothy Rowland • has a twin brother (Adam) and two older brothers (Aaron, Ryan) • lists winning her state championship and catching her release move for the first time as her most memorable sports thrills • enjoys shopping, reading, and hanging out with her brothers • majoring in physiology.
