2014-15
• JUNIOR SEASON
Went 6-3 in singles and 0-3 in doubles on the year • Academic All-Big Ten • won his lone match of the spring season, defeating South Dakota State's Gary Notkin at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 7-6 (3) Jan. 17 • in the fall season, went 5-3 in singles and 0-3 in doubles • posted victories against Monmouth's Christian Vieira and Cornell's Dylan Brown at the Penn Invitational (Sept. 26-28) • registered three-consecutive qualifying wins at the ITA Central Region Championships to reach the event's main draw (Oct. 9-13) • played in doubles with Felix Corwin and Jeremy Lynn.

2013-14 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Academic All-Big Ten • went 1-4 in singles and 3-3 in doubles on the season • was 0-1 in spring singles and 1-0 in spring doubles, downing Indiana's Chris Essick and Stefan Lugonic, 8-4, at the Big Ten Tournament with partner Juan Pablo Ramirez • picked up a singles win in the fall over Princeton's Dan Davies, 6-4, 7-5 • went 2-3 in doubles in the fall, winning twice with Jeremy Lynn.

2012-13
•FRESHMAN SEASON
Had 1-2 overall singles record and at the end of the fall 2012 season • defeated Hicam Belkssir of Temple (2-6, 6-4, 11-9) to advance to the quarterfinals of the Penn Invitational (Sep. 28-30) • captured the doubles title at the Penn Invitational with teammate Juan Pablo Ramirez, defeating Penn's Ismael Lahlou/ and Vim De Alwiss, 9-8, in the championship match • fell in the first round of qualifying at the USTA/ITA Central Region Championship (Oct. 18-22) • did not compete in the spring.

2011-12
Redshirted.

PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
Six-time letter winner at Mahtomedi High School under coaches Justen Seim, Matt Sobieski, and Dan Schwartz • earned all-Classic Suburban Conference honors five times and was an academic all-conference honoree in his senior year • three-time team MVP for the Zephyrs • four-time Section 4AA singles champion • competed at the USTA Zonals three times and won the Zonal Sportsmanship Award twice • paired with fellow Minnesota teammate Eric Frueh to win the 2011 Northern Sectional Doubles title • won the 2011 Mobile National Open doubles championship and placed third in singles • 2010 Junior Davis Cup Team member.

PERSONAL
Double majoring in business and marketing education in the University's College of Education and Human Development and entrepreneurship and business management in theCollege of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences • minoring in international business • was a four-year honor student in high school • most memorable sports thrill was catching a tennis ball that was signed and hit by Andy Roddick at the 2009 U.S. Open • created and copyrighted a personal journal to chronicle one's development in tennis and other endeavors called "Practice Man Practice" • sister, Ronni, played tennis at Minnesota from 2007-10 • grandfather, Ron Saxon, played golf for the Gophers in the late 1940s and great grandfather, Carl Tucker, played for the Minnesota baseball team in the 1920s • cousin, Jenny Saxon, played for the Connecticut women's hockey team in 2010-11 • son of Jim and Milice Saxon • born March 18, 1993.
