2019 Cross Country • Freshman Season: Redshirted the 2019 cross country season while running in two meets as an unattached competitor • finished 12th overall at the Oz Memorial, running the four-mile course in 21:36.5 • recorded a 79th-place finish at the Griak Invitational with an 8K time of 26:37.2.

High School: A graduate of Mounds View High School • recorded a pair of second-place finishes (4x400-meter relay, 1,600 meters) at the 2019 MSHSL Class AA State Track & Field Championships to help the Mustangs to a fourth-place finish in the team standings • led Mounds View to a second-place team finish at the 2018 MSHSL Class AA State Cross Country Championships, finishing fifth individually • finished third in the 1,600 meters at the 2018 MSHSL State Track & Field Championships • a three-time Suburban East Conference champion who won back-to-back 4x800-meter relay crowns in 2018 and 2019 and adding a 3,200-meter title in 2019 • Mounds View's 4x800-meter relay team set a conference record at the SEC meet in 2019 • represented Mounds View High School at the 2019 Nike New Balance Nationals, competing in the 4xMile and the open mile • coached as a prep by Ross Fleming and Aaron Thompson.
Personal: A native of Shoreview, Minn. • son of Julie and Jeff Streit • has one sister, Hadley • a fifth-generation student at the University of Minnesota as his great-great grandmother graduated in 1913.
