2025 Outdoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Was a captain... Was Minnesota's Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Sportsmanship Award winner... Was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree... Set a new wind-aided lifetime best in the 200m at the Hamline Invitational (21.40)... Ran a season-best 400m time of 47.90 at Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly to finish fourth overall... Was 22nd at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in the 400m in a time of 48.56... Ran on the 4x400m relay at three different meets.
2024 Outdoor Track & Field • Sophomore Season: Was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team for work in the classroom... Completed a redshirt season and did not compete.
2023 Outdoor Track & Field • Freshman Season: Ran in two outdoor meets during his first year with the Minnesota Golden Gophers... Made his debut in the Maroon and Gold uniform at the USF Bulls Invitational, finishing 14th in the 400m and third as a member of the team's 4x400m relay team... Ran a personal best 47.59 at the Clyde Hart Classic in the 400m to finish fourth overall... Also helped the Gophers finish third in the 4x100m relay (40.54) and second in the 4x400m relay (3:09.24).
HIGH SCHOOL: Brought in a personal best of 48.52 in the 400m... Improved two and a half seconds in his 400m time that helped him qualify for the MSHSL State Track and Field Championships... Qualified for the state meet in the 100m, 200m and the 400m in his final season at the prep level... Was on the Dean's List and graduated with academic honors as a scholar athlete... Was All-Conference in both track and soccer in high school... Was team captain both his junior and senior seasons.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Genetics, Cell Biology and Development with a minor in Spanish... Child of Sarah and Richard Manser... Lists soccer and backpacking interests outside of track and field... Chose Minnesota because he always grew up a Gopher fan.
