2012 Sophomore Season: Competed in four events for the Gophers and factored into Minnesota[apos]s team score in each race opened the season at the Autumn Classic, finishing 16th overall with a time of 20:39.9 finished 15th overall at the Griak Invitational, crossing the finish line at 25:09.5 posted his personal best 8-kilometer at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational at 24:29 closed out his sophomore season at the Big Ten Championship, finishing 42nd overall with a time of 24:34 letter winner.
2011 Redshirt Freshman Season: Competed in six meets placed fourth among Gophers at the NCAA Championships, racing 31:11 ran fourth for the Gophers at the Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships in 32:29.43, helping the Gophers earn fourth place as a team clocked his season-best 24:31 at the Big Ten Championships, good for fourth on the team and 29thoverall competed at the Wisconsin Adidas 8K with a time of 24:41, the fourth-best for Minnesota raced as the Gopher[apos]s sixth-best runner at the Roy Griak Invitational, running 25:05.9 earned fifth place team and overall honors at the Hornet Jamboree 4-mile with 19:34
2010 Redshirted: Redshirted the 2010 Cross Country season.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Sussex Hamilton High School high school coaches were Andy Bosley and Stephen Schmidt state champion at the 2009 Wisconsin Division 1 cross country meet with a time of 15:41.0 qualified for the Nike Cross Nationals finished second in the 3,200m and third in the 1,600m at the 2010 Wisconsin Division 1 state track meet a six-time Greater Metro Conference champion set school records in 800, 1,600, and 3,200m a WIAA Scholar Athlete a National Honor Society member.
Personal: Born Oct. 16, 1991 undecided on a major son of Chuck and Sue Paulson has a younger sister, Ashlyn parents both ran cross country and track at UW-Stevens Point enjoys Ultimate Frisbee, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.
