2025 Outdoor Track & Field • Junior Season: Scored for the Maroon and Gold at the Big Ten Championships in the triple jump... Competed in nine outdoor meets in first season at Minnesota... Dropped a season-best long jump and triple jump at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships... Was eighth in the triple jump at the Big Ten Championships with a leap of 15.04m (49-4 1/4) and was 12th in the long jump with a mark of 7.29m (23-11)... Won Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly long jump with a mark of 7.14m (23-5 1/4)... Also competed at the LSU Invitational, Gary Wilson Invitational, Beach Invite, Bryan Clay Invitational, Flroida Relays, USF Alumni Invitational and the Arizona Spring Break Fiesta.
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA: Earned All-American status at Iowa Central Community College five times... Brought in a long jump lifetime best of 7.77m (25-6), which helped him earn an All-American finish at the NJCAA level... Walters also reached the NJCAA Outdoor Championships in the triple jump in 2023 and helped the 4x100m relay reach the championships in both 2023 and 2024.
