2014-15 · SENIOR SEASON
Capped senior season with an 8-9 record in singles and a 20-12 doubles mark · won the team's Len Bailey Award for Grit and Determination for the second-straight year · Academic All-Big Ten · went 2-3 at No. 6 singles in the spring · finished 14-9 in spring doubles record, including a 12-9 with freshman Matic Spec · duo won its first seven matches of the season · tandem had an 8-1 at the Baseline Tennis Center and went 5-2 in Big Ten play at the No. 3 position, including an 8-2 victory against Northwestern's Alp Horoz and Mihir Kumar that helped the Gophers seal a share of their first Big Ten regular-season title since 1995 (April 19) · recorded marks of 6-6 in singles and 6-3 in doubles in the fall · went 2-2 in each of Minnesota's fall tournaments: the Penn Invitational (Sept. 26-28), the ITA Central Region Championships (Oct. 9-13) and the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Oct. 31-Nov. 3) · went 4-4 in three-set matches · played doubles with Spec and Felix Corwin · went to the Central Regional round of 16 with Spec (Oct. 9-13) · had a 3-1 ledger with Corwin at the Big Ten Indoors (Oct. 31).

2013-14 · JUNIOR SEASON
Recipient of the Len Bailey Grit and Determination Award · Academic All-Big Ten · went 7-17 in singles and 19-13 in doubles · won twice at No. 5 and twice at No. 6 in spring singles play · posted a 13-10 dual-match doubles record, going 12-7 with Leandro Toledo, including a 7-2 record against Big Ten teams · had a 3-3 singles ledger in the fall · went 2-0 at the Gopher Invitational (Oct. 31-Nov. 3) · had a 6-3 fall doubles mark · reached round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships with Leandro Toledo (Oct. 18-21) · advanced to the semifinal at Big Ten Championships with Ruben Weber (Oct. 25-27).

2012-13 · SOPHOMORE SEASON
Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and ITA Scholar-Athlete · competed mostly in doubles during the 2012-13 season, amassing a 20-10 overall record · paired with Leandro Toledo to form the team's most dominant doubles duo with an 11-5 overall record, all from the No. 3 spot · posted a commanding 8-3 mark in conference action · posted a 5-1 record when partnering with Juan Pablo Ramirez · went 7-5 in overall singles, 6-4 from the fall season · fell to Kris Yee (Vanderbilt) in two-sets on Jan. 26 · defeated Javier Varela Hernani of Marquette by scores of 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 (Feb. 16) · competed at the Penn Invitational (Sept. 28-30), reaching the consolation semifinals of the singles competition and the semifinals of the doubles bracket · went 1-1 in singles qualifying rounds for the USTA/ITA Central Region Championships (Oct. 18-22) · marked a 4-1 record at the Gopher Invitational (Nov. 1-4) with notable wins coming against Preben Bjorne of Denver, Brendan Tannenbaum of Dartmouth, and Bradford Zitsch of Nebraska · went 4-1 in doubles with partner Juan Pablo Ramirez · duo defeated Drake's talented team of Alen Salibasic and Ben Lott.

2011-12 · FRESHMAN SEASON
ITA Scholar-Athlete · went 9-7 in singles (all matches played in the fall, as he did not play in singles in the spring) and 9-7 overall in doubles (2-3 in dual matches and 7-4 in the fall) · was 1-1 in doubles with Leandro Toledo, 4-5 with Michael Sicora, 3-0 with Brendan Ruddock, 1-0 with Juan Pablo Ramirez, and 0-1 with Jack Hamburg · began college career by winning five of first six singles matches · won first three matches at Southern Intercollegiates in Athens, Ga. (Sept. 23-25) in straight sets to reach the tournament's semifinal round in the third flight · reached his flight's semifinal round at the Wildcat Invitational in Evanston, Ill. (Oct. 21-22) · teamed with Toledo to post an 8-5 win against Robin Goodman and Jean Erasmus of Drake (March 9) at third doubles in a neutral-site match in his hometown of Rochester, Minn.

PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
Earned six varsity tennis letters at Rochester Century under head coach Scott Boyer · was a five-time Big 9 all-conference selection · placed fourth as a junior and second as a senior in the Minnesota High School Class AA State Championship in singles · eight-time USTA Zonals qualifier · qualified for USTA Intersectionals three times and twice for the USTA National Team Championships · partnered with fellow Gopher teammate Tucker Saxon to win the 2011 Northern Sectional Doubles title · two-time qualifier for the USTA Junior Davis Cup.

PERSONAL
Planning on majoring in finance with a math minor · most memorable sports thrill was rallying from being down match points to win the National Open doubles tournament in Midland, Mich. · enjoys golfing and skiing in his free time and got a hole-in-one in 2010 · Placed first in the state and seventh nationally in the 2011 Business Professionals of America fundamental accounting contest · father, Brent, played tennis at North Dakota from 1986-89 · son of Brent and Shari Frueh · born Feb. 17, 1993.
