2013-14 - SENIOR SEASON
Garnered the Minnesota Team Spirit Award - amassed 32 singles wins and a 57-35 doubles record over the course of his collegiate career - as a senior, went 3-9 in singles and 9-10 in doubles - won twice at No. 6 and once at No. 5 - all three wins came at the Baseline Tennis Center against Big Ten foes - played primarily with Franz Sydow in doubles, going 7-9 with a 7-7 record at the No. 3 position - did not compete in the fall.
2012-13 - JUNIOR SEASON
Picked up the Jerry Noyce/Nike Most Improved Player Award - marked a 16-16 overall singles record and a 24-13 overall doubles record in his junior season with the Gophers - Played for a 5-5 tally in conference action - gathered notable wins against Jeff Hawke (No. 14 Washington) and Michael Zhu (No. 31 Michigan) early in the season during the team's 9-1 run - defeated Michigan State's Harry Jadun in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament and VCU's Dylan McCloskey in the first round of the NCAA Tournament - teamed with Rok Bonin in conference doubles and went 6-4 at the second position - finished the fall season with 6-5 singles record - went 2-1 in singles at the Penn Invitational (Sept. 28-30) - captured the doubles title at the Penn Invitational with teammate Juan Pablo Ramirez, defeating Penn's Ismael Lahlou/ and Vim De Alwiss, 9-8, in the championship match - Advanced past the round of 64 at the USTA/ITA Central Region Championship (Oct. 18-22) with a two-set win over Bobby Kidera of St. Louis - went 2-2 at the Gopher Invitational (Nov. 1-4) in singles and marked an impressive 4-1 record in doubles with Eric Frueh - with Froment as a partner, advanced to the doubles championship of the Lakewood Ranch Invitational (Nov. 9-11) after three wins in the opening rounds - lost to Florida's Gordon Watson and Billy Federhofer, 8-2, in the finals.
2011-12 - SOPHOMORE SEASON
Went 12-6 overall in singles (1-1 in dual matches and 11-5 in fall tournament play) - was 17-9 overall in doubles (14-4 in dual matches and 3-5 in doubles) - tied Leandro Toledo for a team high 11 singles wins in the fall - his two singles matches in the spring both came in Big Ten play - beat Quinton Vega (Feb. 25) of Wisconsin 6-3, 6-2, but lost to Indiana's Dimitrije Tasic (April 14) - played with five different doubles partners during the season, but found the most success with Leandro Toledo, as they went 13-4 in dual matches - duo was 3-4 at No. 2 doubles and 10-0 at the third position (began the spring season 10-0 before moving up to the second position) - combined to go 9-2 in Big Ten play with Toledo - was named to the Spring Academic All-Big Ten team.
2010-11 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Joined the team in January so he did not compete in the fall - went 1-3 in singles and 7-3 in doubles as a new addition to the team in the spring - posted first collegiate win against Angel Alvarez 6-1, 6-1 on March 26 to help Minnesota complete its only sweep of the season against Denver - played all six doubles matches (4-2 record) alongside Tobias Wernet, winning three straight from 4/8-15 - teamed with Wernet in Big Ten tournament doubles play - duo kicked off Big Ten doubles competition in quarterfinal against Wisconsin and in semifinal against Indiana with 8-2 and 8-6 wins, respectively - tandem lost 8-4 in championship to Blaz Rola and Balazs Novak of Ohio State - teamed with Tobias Wernet to win their match at third singles against Fresno State in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
