2021 SPRING SEASON:
Completed his sophomore season with a 7-11 singles record and a 13-8 doubles record • Primarily in the No. 4 Singles slot, he earned a season-long three-match winning streak from March 21 to March 28 • Formed one of the nation's premier doubles pairings alongisde Vlad Lobak, reaching as high as No. 4 in the ITA Doubles Rankings • Held a 12-3 doubles record with Lobak, including four ranked wins over opponents who all resided in the top five at some point during the season • Entered the NCAA Doubles Tournament as an at-large bid, and earned All-American status with a victory over the tournament's No. 1 overall seed Finn Reynolds/Tim Sandkaulen (Ole Miss)

2020 SPRING SEASON:
Started off his first year of spring play with the Gophers with a singles record of 7-4 playing in the team’s No. 3 singles spot and a record of 5-2 playing in the No. 1 doubles position beside Vlad Lobak • Started the spring season off with a match-clinching singles win over Marquette’s Brett Meyers by a score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 • Earned his first career ranked doubles win alongside Lobak with a 6-1 victory over Alabama’s Alexey Nesterov and Riccardo Roberto, who were ranked as the No. 40 doubles pairing in the nation at the time • Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree for the University of Minnesota • Season ended on March 12, 2020, when the Big Ten and NCAA announced they were ceasing competitions and championships because of COVID-19 public health concerns.
2019 FALL SEASON:
Finished off his first fall tournament season with the Gophers by putting up an overall record of 7-3 in singles play and 7-4 in doubles play • Advanced to the ITA Central Regional Doubles Semifinals alongside teammate Vlad Lobak • Also played his way into the Round of 16 of the ITA Central Regional Singles Draw, before falling to the eventual singles champion Kody Pearson of Tulsa 6-1, 6-7 (1), 7-5 • Finished the FGCU Invite with both a singles and doubles record of 2-1 • Went a near perfect 3-1 in singles play over the course of the Gopher Invitational.

Attended Audentese Spordigümnaasium in Estonia • 2018 National Champion in doubles for Estonia • Also reached the singles National Semifinals in 2018 • Multi-time ITF Junior Tournament winner in doubles • Won ITF Singles Tournament in the 5th grade.

Son of Sven and Kadri Troost • Lists winning the 2018 national championship in doubles as his most memorable sports accomplishment • Enjoys playing basketball and watching stand-up comedy • Has three siblings: Mihkel, Liis and Iti Mari • Born Dec. 7, 1999.
