2025-26 | FRESHMAN
• Raced in four of the Gophers' regattas during her first year on campus
• Closed the season at the 2026 Big Ten Championships (May 15 & 17), helping the 3V8 to a second-place finish in the Petite Finals after placing fourth in the opening heats
• Turned in runner-up finishes in both the heats and finals as part of the 3V8 crew at the Twin Cities 2K (May 2) on Lake Phalen
• Raced with the 3V8 across three sessions at the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 18-19) in California, securing a third-place finish on Saturday afternoon to complement two fourth-place efforts
• Made her Minnesota rowing debut by placing third on the 1N8 boat at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 4)
HIGH SCHOOL
• Competed with the Duluth Rowing Club from 2021 to 2025
• Named a team captain for the club during the 2024-25 season
• Given the Iron Oar Award in both 2023 and 2025 for having a 2k time under eight minutes
• Graduated from Duluth East High School in 2025
• Participated in rowing and mountain biking for three years and spent two years in the theater program
• Was a member of the National Honor Society
• Earned an academic letter during all four years of her prep career
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Aaron and Johanna Hislop
• Has an older brother, Bode
• Learned how to alpine ski when she was two and continues to volunteer as a ski patroller at Spirit Mountain
• Enjoys baking, hiking, camping, traveling, thrifting, and spending time outside in her free time
• Was a teammate of current Gopher rower Emilie Rish at the Duluth Rowing Club in 2023
• Chose the University of Minnesota because "it was the perfect distance from home with incredible opportunities, both academically and athletically"
