2023-24 | FRESHMAN
• Joined the Gophers' novice team for the spring semester and raced in the final three regattas
• Placed fourth as part of the 2N8 boat during the Big Ten Championship (May 19) to close the season
• Raced to three fourth-place finishes during the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 19-20) from Sarasota, Fla., as part of the 2N8 crew
• Made her collegiate debut with the 2N8 in a pair of duals versus Kansas and Kansas State at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Dual (Apr. 12), placing second in each race
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Brian and Deb Caballero
• Has two sisters, Alanna and Mia
• Graduated with honors in the top three percent of her class from St. Michael-Albertville High School in 2023 and held a perfect 4.0 GPA
• Lettered in academics all four years with the Knights
• Was a member of the National Honor Society
• Danced at Showcase Dance Studio from 2019-2023 and won nationals in June of 2023
• Served as a co-captain of her dance team from 2022-23
• Previously competed in gymnastics for more than 11 years
• Enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota because "as soon as I stepped foot on campus for the first time, it felt like home. I also wanted to have the opportunity to earn a degree through the Carlson School of Management. The University of Minnesota is full of amazing opportunities for me both academically and socially and has all of the resources to set me up for a successful future."
