PRONUNCIATION

2023-24 | FRESHMAN
• Competed on the novice squad at six regattas for the Gophers in her first year
• Turned in a fourth-place result at the Big Ten Championship (May 19) to close the season with the 2N8
• Raced to three fourth-place finishes on the 2N8 boat during the Big Ten Invitational (Apr. 19-20) from Sarasota, Fla.
• Finished second with the 2N8 in a pair of duals versus Kansas and Kansas State at the Big 12/Big Ten Double Dual (Apr. 12)
• Won a road dual over No. 12 Ohio State (Apr. 6) with the 1N8 boat
• Raced to second during a dual with Gonzaga (Mar. 10) to begin the spring season on the 3V4 crew
• Made her collegiate debut with a second-place effort at the season-opening Head of the Mississippi Regatta (Oct. 7) on the 1N8 crew
 
PERSONAL
• Daughter of Jason and Emily Cleverly
• Has three younger siblings; Isabelle, Sam, and Emerson
• Competed with the Milwaukee Rowing Club in 2022-23 under the guidance of head coach Roger Huffman
• Graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in 2023
• Also earned a varsity letter in swimming with the Blue Dukes for head coach Tom Miazga
• Picked up all-state honors in the 400-freestyle relay for Wisconsin Division 2 swimming, an event she helped set a school record in
• Selected as the Whitefish Bay Duke Pride Award winner and given the Whitefish Bay Unsung Hero Duke Pride Award
• Loves going hiking, especially in the mountains
• Chose to attend the University of Minnesota because "when I came on my visit it felt like home. There are so many resources available that I feel like they do a really good job at setting everyone up for success. The team was also so welcoming, and I wanted to be a part of it."
