5-2 in singles play and 5-2 in doubles play during the Fall season • went 3-0 in singles play and 4-1 in doubles play during the Gopher Invitational (Sept. 24-26) • went 2-2 in singles play and 1-1 in doubles play in the ITA Central Regional (Oct. 21-24).
2021 SPRING SEASON
Tied for second on the team with 10 singles victories • Went 8-7 in doubles play • Had team best nine singles wins in conference play • Went 5-2 in doubles play with main partner Juliet Zhang • 12 of her singles matches came from the No. 2 position.
2020 FALL SEASON

2020 SPRING SEASON
Went 12-2 in the No. 3 and 4 singles spot • Opened up play with a win over Montana’s Lauren Dunlap • Fell to No. 4 UCLA in a close battle with #99 Annette Boulak • Would turn around to go on a nine game win streak, including big wins over Mizzou and Memphis • Contributed to Minnesota’s 4-3 Border Battle victory over Wisconsin • Collected a 7-2 doubles record with doubles partner Dalila Said in the No. 2 spot • After falling to a top UCLA tandem, the pair went on to win five straight matches.
2019 FALL SEASON
Was one of two Gophers and the only newcomer to go undefeated at the Gopher Invitational • Had an 88th seed at the ITA Central Regional • Downed opponents from Purdue and UConn at the FGCU Invitational • Defeated Seira Shimizu of Purdue 6-2, 6-3.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Baskent Universitesi Ozel Ayseabla Okullari in Ankara, Turkey • Finished third in her high school class • Played for the U14, U16, and U18 Turkish national teams • Won G5, G4, and G3 ITF Juniors singles tournaments • Won G5, G4, and G3 ITF Juniors doubles tournaments • Most memorable sports moment was defeating France’s No. 1 competitor and ITF Juniors #38 in 2018.
PERSONAL
Ekin is the daughter of Burcay and Senol Ercetin • A computer science major • Enjoys watching movies, TV shows, playing sudoku and chess • Chose the University of Minnesota because of the campus, the people, and the academics.
