HAUG AND PARRY ADVANCE AT ALL-AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

rouUniversity of Minnesota junior Tyson Parry and sophomore Thomas Haug both advanced to the second round of the qualifying rounds of the All-American Championships in Austin, Texas.

Parry, of Chatham, Ontario, Canada, defeated Aliastair Garland of Pepperdine, 6-3, 6-2. He will play Scott Eddins of TCU tomorrow. Haug defeated Mark Williams of Baylor in a three-set thriller, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (3), 7-5. He will play Lance Mills of Nebraska also tomorrow.
