DUENAS ADVANCES TO FINAL MATCH AT PENN FALL CLASSIC

BrUniversity of Minnesota junior Jorge Duenas won his two more matches at the Penn Fall Classic in Philadelphia, Pa., this afternoon. Duenas defeated Brad Erikson of Northwestern 7-6, 6- 4 in the quarterfinals. He then defeated Jamie Sahara of Northwestern 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals.

Sophomore Karl Sloss defeated Matt Nielson of Penn State, 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 in the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket. Sloss then went on to lose to Ethan Farban of Columbia, 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles action, Duenas and freshman Eric Robertson lost to Hol and Erikson of Northwestern, 8-4.
