MEN'S TENNIS TEAM SHUTS OUT IOWA 7-0

Minnesota won all six singles matches and all three doubles matches to complete the shutout. At No. 1 singles, sophomore Tyson Parry defeated Tyler Cleveland 6-7, 7-5, 6-4. Freshman Thomas Haug kept his flawless Big Ten record alive with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over J.R. Chidley at No. 2 singles.
Senior Adam Selkirk defeated Ulf Jentler at No. 3, 7-5, 6-3 and sophomore Jon Svensson defeated Petar Mandic 6- 1, 6-0 at the No. 4 position. Junior Martin Michalowski and sophomore Jorge Duenas also won singles matches at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions.
At the No. 1 doubles position, senior Martin Kristoffersen and Michalowski defeated Cleveland and Bamsey 8-3. At the No. 2 position, Selkirk and Parry won 8-5 over Ulf Jentler and Girts Auskaps. Finally, Haug and freshman Ryan Davies defeated Chidley and Petar Mandic 8-5 to complete the sweep.
