SOLBERG AND MARQUES ELIMINATED AT ARIZONA STATE INVITATIONAL

sing University of Minnesota men's tennis players Steve Solberg and Ed Marques were eliminated in singles consolation play at the Arizona State Thunderbirds Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

In the second round in the consolation bracket, Solberg was defeated by Marko Gojanovic of Clemson, 7-6 (3), 6-3. Marques was eliminated by Ricardo Rizzo of the University of San Diego, 6-0, 6-1.
