DUENAS STAYS ALIVE AT ITA NATIONAL CLAY COURT CHAMPIONSHIPS

wi Golden Gopher men's tennis player, Jorge Duenas, advanced to the consolation quarterfinals of the ITA National Clay Court Championships on Friday with a 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4, victory over Mike Murray of Wake Forest. Consolation quarterfinal action takes place on Saturday.

In the winner's bracket, Thomas Haug was ousted by tournament top-seed Brian Vahaly of Virginia by a score of 6-2, 6-1 in third-round action.
