HAUG AND ZHARINOV ELIMINATED AT THE ALL-AMERICAN TOURNAMENT

All- Golden Gopher men's tennis player Aleksey Zharinov was defeated by eighth-seeded Oliver Maiberger of San Diego State in the second round of the All-American Tournament in Atlanta, Ga. He dropped a straight-set decision by the score of 6-1, 6-3. Zharinov advanced to the second round earlier in the morning with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 over Rice's Richard Barker.
Earlier in the day, fellow Golden Gopher Thomas Haug was defeated in the first round by Steve Berke of Yale, 6-3, 6-4. He was ousted in the consolation round by Tennessee's Wade Orr by a score of 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.
