MANKAD RECEIVES AT-LARGE BID FOR NATIONAL INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

8-10Junior Harsh Mankad received an at-large bid for next week's Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships next week in Dallas, Nov. 8-10. Mankad will compete in the 32-man singles draw.

Ranked 22nd in the nation, Mankad reached the semifinals of the Region IV Championships last weekend in East Lansing, Mich. The junior from India has had a busy fall as he also represented his country in its Davis Cup pre-qualifying match with the United States.

Minnesota will spend this weekend in Las Vegas, competing at the UNLV Invitational with host UNLV, Arizona State and Oklahoma.
