Men's Golf Tied for Sixth After Two Rounds of NCAA Regionals

Third-seeded Minnesota shot a 10-over-par 298 on the day in windy conditions. Sophomore Justin Smith is tied for second place at 2-under- par after firing a even-par 72 today. Sophomore David Morgan is tied for 29th at 3-over-par. After two rounds of 75, junior Matt Anderson is tied for 60th at 6-over 150. Sophomore Simon Nash carded a 74 in the second round and moved up to 74th at 7-over 151.
The NCAA West Regionals conclude tomorrow with the third round starting at 7:12 a.m. mountain time. The top 10 teams and the top two individuals not on those teams qualify for the NCAA Championships May 29 - June 1, in Columbus, Ohio.
