Schwark's Run Ends at All-American in Consolation Quarters

Minnesota senior Raoul Schwark’s run in the back draw at the All-American Tennis Championships ended in the quarterfinals Saturday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

Schwark, who won both of his matches on Friday to reach the consolation bracket’s final eight, was defeated in straight sets by Ohio State’s Justin Kronaugh, 6-2, 6-3.

The loss dropped Schwark’s overall record on the season to 6-2.

The Minnesota men’s tennis team returns to action Oct. 12-14, when the Gophers travel to Evanston, Ill., to compete in the Northwestern Invitational.
