The University of Minnesota Gophers return to the Baseline Tennis Center this weekend set to host Army at 10 a.m. and Illinois State at 5 p.m.
The Gophers will be looking to stop a three match losing streak. They have taken losses against some of nation's top ranked teams including two against then-No. 16 Columbia.
"This will be a good weekend of matches against two good teams and will give us an opportunity to continue to get better before the Big Ten season," head coach Geoff Young said. "We do normally play a little better on our home courts. It helps the when the players don't have to adjust to getting used to a new court. It will be nice to be home."
The Lineup
Matic Spec picked up a win this past weekend and has played nine out of the Gophers' 10 matches in the No. 1 spot this dual match season. He has an overall record of 7-7 this season.
Ruben Weber has a team leading 11-7 singles record. He is 3-3 at the No. 2 spot and before last weekend had a three-match win streak.

He currently sits with a 7-7 overall record. Levin has won a match at all three spots and is 8-9 while Krstanovic has picked up two of his three wins this dual match season at the No. 4 spot.
