Gophers move on to Consolation Quarterfinals

PALM DESERT, Calif. - Seniors Felix Corwin and Matic Spec will advance to the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket at the ITA National Fall Championships on Friday after receiving a walkover in Thursday's round of 16.
The Gophers duo saw their opponents withdraw from the tournament to move them on to the next round. Corwin and Spec will now meet Jackson Cobb and Alex Sendegaya of Texas Tech on Friday in the quarterfinals. Match times for Friday have not yet been announced.
Earlier in the day, sophomore Stefan Milicevic saw his run come to an end, falling to sixth-seeded Emil Reinberg of Georgia 4-6, 7-6 (0), 6-0 in the round-of-32.
