Preview: Gophers Head South for B1G Double Dual at Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Gopher Rowing team heads south to enter Big Ten competition at this weekend's double dual hosted by No. 13 Iowa. The field also includes No. 11 Wisconsin and No. 20 Indiana.
Minnesota (R.V.) impressed last time out, placing third at the Doc Hosea Invitational two weeks ago in New Jersey. The Gophers will look to keep that momentum going in its lone head-to-head competition with only Big Ten Conference teams ahead of next month's Championships.
Gophers in the Polls
Minnesota ranks among the teams receiving votes just outside the top-20 in this week's poll. Six Big Ten teams stand in the top 20 this week with yet another joining the Gophers just on the outside
The Field
Minnesota will be facing some of the best the Big Ten has to offer with No. 11-ranked Wisconsin, No. 13 Iowa, and No. 20 Indiana.

From I-80, take Coralville Exit 242 North onto First Avenue. Continue right at the roundabout and follow First Avenue (becomes North Liberty Road) for 3.4 miles. Turn left on Dubuque Street to North Liberty, IA (1.6 miles). Then turn right on North Front Street. North Front Street becomes Mehaffey Bridge Road; continue for 4.8 miles. Immediately after the causeway, turn left on Cottage Reserve Road and follow signs to the right to the boat ramp for 0.7 miles. Parking directions will then be visible.
