Maroon & Gold Prepare for 2020 Season

The University of Minnesota men's tennis team kicks off their 2020 spring dual season against Marquette University at the Rochester Athletic Club in Rochester, Minn. at 5:00 p.m. next Saturday, January 18.
This marks the first of 22 total matches that the Maroon & Gold will play over the course of the 2020 spring season. The schedule for the Gophers features a total of 11 nonconference matches, as well as 11 matches within the Big Ten Conference.
Of the 22 total matches, ten of them will be hosted at the University of Minnesota's Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, including the team's home opener against Auburn University on Friday, January 31 at 6:00 p.m. The Gophers will have their first official match of Big Ten play on Sunday, March 8 at the Baseline Tennis Center against rival Wisconsin.
To wrap up their 2020 season, the Maroon & Gold will host Ohio State on Sunday, April 19 for the Gophers' senior day and regular season finale. The Gophers will then have to turn around and travel to Bloomington, Ind. to take part in the 2020 Big Ten Tournament, which runs from April 23 to April 26.
