Baseline Tennis Center Set to Host UCSB on Saturday

The Gopher men's tennis team is set to take on the University of California Santa Barbara on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Baseline Tennis Center.
After a weekend in which the Maroon & Gold finished 1-1 against Ivy League competitors with a 4-3 loss against Dartmouth College on Friday and a 7-0 victory on Sunday against the Yale Bulldogs, the now 5-2 Minnesota squad will look to remain undefeated at home this season following their match with the Gauchos this weekend.
UC - Santa Barbara currently sits with a record of 2-6 on the spring season so far, with their wins coming against UNC Wilmington and Loyola Marymount. The Gauchos still prove to be a difficult opponent for teams despite their record, as four of the team's six losses have been by a score of 4-3 including tight losses against Washington and Pepperdine.
"Looking forward to playing at home again in front of our own fans," head coach Geoff Young said. "UCSB has a strong team. We'll need to be sharp to come out on top."
