Last Time Out: Tyson Invite and Iowa State Classic
Last weekend the University of Minnesota saw a new women's indoor 4x400m relay school record get set on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark., at the Tyson Invite. The squad composed of Jayla CampbellJanielle JosephsVal Larson and Abigail Schaaffe raced to a time of 3:32.94 at the Tyson Invite, posting a top 10 mark in the nation and the No. 2 time in the Big Ten. The team broke the previous school record by the team of Kat Keller, Emerald Egwin, Erin Hawkins and Titania Markland back in 2016 at 3:35.33. Campbell started Minnesota off with a 53.89 split off the gun with Josephs taking the baton next, splitting an impressive 52.92. Larson continued the record-breaking run with a 53.99 split while Schaaffe's 52.16 anchor split brought the team home to its best finish in six years. The 4x400m school-record time came on the heels of an impressive Friday where both Campbell and Schaaffe put down top five times in program history in the open 400m. Campbell dropped a 53.97, the fourth-best time in school history, while Schaaffe's 54.04 goes down as the No. 5 time in program history.

The Golden Gophers Ranked in the Big Ten
Just one week away from the Big Ten Indoor Championships, the Gophers currently have 23 different marks and times that are in scoring position. Two marks this season are at the top of the Big Ten standings, those include Bethany Hasz's 9:02.34 in the 3000m while Allison Gerads 4,037 points in the pentathlon is the best mark in the Big Ten this year.

Kaleb Siekmeier had one of his best performances in the weight throw, tossing a then-top 10 national mark of 22.09m (72-5 3/4), pushing him to third all-time in program history. Mike Herauf picked up his third win of the season in the men's pole vault at 5.11 meters (16-09.25 ft.) while on the track Kion Benjamin posted the 10th-fastest time in University of Minnesota history in the 60m at 6.80.
