The University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team had a record-setting performance at Maturi Pavilion, led by perfect scores from Ona Loper on vault and Mya Hooten on floor. Michigan's 198.025 won the team title, and Minnesota followed with a 197.650.

Hooten's perfect 10 on floor was the second in her career and second in program history. She also accomplished the feat as a freshman on March 5, 2021. Loper's perfect 10 marked her fourth perfect score on the event in her career and eight perfect score on vault in program history. With the perfect 10s from both Loper and Hooten, Monday's meet was the first time in program history two gymnasts recorded a perfect 10 at a home meet.

Lexy Ramler's 39.825 all-around score is second best in program history, second only to her 39.850 scored at the Big Five meet in 2021.

Minnesota comes in at No. 5 overall for their first time in the rankings this season. The Maroon and Gold is ranked second in the nation on vault, eighth on bars and 18th on beam and second on floor.
