Gophers Back in Action at Tampa Thursday

MINNEAPOLIS – Competing for the first time in over a month, the No. 23 Minnesota women's and No. 25 men's swimming teams return to the pool Thursday for a dual meet at the University of Tampa.
The matchup with the Spartans is set for 12 a.m. CT at the Riseman Aquatic Center. Streaming coverage will be provided on TampaSpartans.tv with results on the Meet Mobile App (subscription required).
The dual meet will not be scored and the teams will swim "off-distances" which will include a 50/150/300 of each stroke and 100/300 IM in addition to the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay.
The Gophers men's and women's teams each have just one loss in their dual meets so far this year, with the women at 6-1 and the men 4-1.
The Tampa women are ranked No. 4 in the latest CSCAA Division II poll, while the Spartan men are No. 6, and both teams are undefeated at 4-0 in dual meets this season.
