-It marked the second-straight year the Gophers faced a MIAC school, this time with Macalester. Minnesota faced St. Olaf in 2022 to open the season, also in exhibition.Â
-It marked the first unofficial game in a Gopher uniform for Fox, Hawkins, Mitchell Jr., Jack Wilson, Kris Keinys and Erick Reader
-After a two-year hiatus, Parker Fox and Isaiah Ihnen stepped onto the Gopher court. Both individuals had back-to-back knee injuries the past two years, which sidelined them for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 season.Â
