MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota junior Kaiser Neverman broke his own school record in the 200 fly Saturday as he competed at the Gophers' Last Chance Meet.

Neverman set the Minnesota 200 fly record earlier this season at the Minnesota InviteĀ as he posted an NCAA provisional cut of 1:42.96 to best the mark of Kyler Van Swol, who swam the event in 1:43.37 at the 2014 NCAA Championships.

Saturday, Neverman lowered his own record down by 0.4 seconds, improving it to 1:42.56.

His was not the only notable performance Saturday.

Also in the 200 fly, freshman Alberto Hernandez touched in 1:44.40, while junior William Christenson came in at 1:44.51, both personal records for the Gopher duo. Hernandez is now sixth all-time in the event at Minnesota, while Christenson is seventh. Neither swimmer was in the Gophers' top-15 all-time list before Saturday.

Junior Casey Stowe set a personal record in the 100 back at 46.66, moving from fifth to third on the Gophers' all-time performance list.

In addition, sophomore Drew Kaelin broke his personal best time in the 100 breast at 55.22.

Minnesota's men's team remains home for the remainder of the season as the Zone Diving Championships (March 7-9) and NCAA Championships (March 22-25) will both be held at the Gophers' home pool at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. The selection show for the NCAAs is March 8 at 11 a.m. CT.
