Maroon and Gold Set For Desert Mountain Collegiate Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's golf team is set to compete in the Desert Mountain Collegiate in Scottsdale, Ariz., March 8-9.
The two-day, 54-hole stroke play tournament will be held at Desert Mountain Golf Club beginning Saturday with a shotgun start.

The Field:
The Gophers will be competing against No. 10 Utah, No. 27 Mississippi State, Big Ten rival and host-Michigan, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Grand Canyon, James Madison, Kansas, Kentucky, Lamar, Miami (OH), Oral Roberts, Pacific, Southern Illinois, UTEP, and Virginia-Commonwealth.
The Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold will be represented by senior Eduardo Galdos, juniors Cormac Sharpe and Jack Wetzel, and freshmen Jack Crousore and Chun-Ta Wu.
