2011-12 ? SENIOR SEASON: In fall season, went 7-6 in singles and 5-4 in doubles ? Won seven of first 10 singles matches ? Won two matches at the Wildcat Invitational in Evanston, Ill. (10/21-22), the Big Ten Indoors in Iowa City, Iowa (10/28-31), and at the Gopher Invitational (11/3-6) ? Reached third set of semifinal matchup against Jonathan Schwerin of Marquette at Wildcat Invitational ? Paired with Eric Frueh, won four of first five double matches of the fall, including two wins at the both the Wildcat Invitational and the Big Ten Indoors.

2010-11 ? JUNIOR SEASON: Had a fall singles record of 4-5 ? Three of four wins came in three sets ? Beat Chris Hasyn of Penn State and Drew Lied of Michigan State to reach Round of 16 at Big Ten Indoor Tournament in East Lansing, Mich. (10/30) ? Went 4-3 in doubles in the fall, playing all but one match partnered with Eddie Svenda ? Split four singles matches and did not compete in doubles during the spring ? Secured a Minnesota win against Purdue with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 win over Pawel Poziomski on 4/10.










2009-10 ? SOPHOMORE SEASON: Went 8-12 in singles and 7-8 in doubles ? Led the team in doubles victories during the fall with four different partners ? Went 2-1 in singles matches at the Pepperdine Invitational (9/24-27) with straight-set wins over Pepperdine's Alejandro Moreno 6-4, 6-2 and Arizona's Andres Carrasco 6-0, 7-5 ? Totaled a 4-3 doubles record with Phillip Arndt, taking two wins at the Harvard Invitational (10/9-11) and two victories at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (10/30-11/2) ? Joined Tobias Wernet for an 8-6first round doubles win over Orhan Spahic and Jordan Snyder of Southern Illinois at the ITA Regional Tournament (10/22).

2008-09 ? FRESHMAN SEASON: Totaled a 20-9 singles record and 15-15 doubles mark ? Went 5-2 in Big Ten play ?won the team's Bob McNamara Unsung Hero Award ? Competed at No. 1 doubles in the NCAA tournament with Tobias Wernet and finished ranked 71st nationally in doubles ? Posted a 12-7 doubles record with Wernet, primarily at No. 1 position ? Won four straight matches to reach the semifinals of the ITA Midwest Regional (10/16-20) in doubles, beating 39th-ranked Mortiz Baumann and Marek Michalicka of Wisconsin in the third round ? Won three straight singles matches to qualify for the ITA Regional main draw and then defeated Xavier's Doug Matthews in the first round ? Lost to 26th-ranked Austen Childs of Louisville in the second round ? Did not play a three-set match or match tiebreaker the entire season as all 29 singles matches were decided in straight sets ? Did not drop consecutive matches all season and longest winning streak was four matches.

PRIOR TO MINNESOTA: Attended Buffalo High School ? Head coach was Jeff Lindstrom ? Won state Class AA singles championships in 2006 and 2008 ? Reached the state semifinals as a junior ? Concluded his high school career with a 154-16 record and won five straight conference championships ? Team won conference title three straight years and a sectional championship ? One of 40 student-athletes nationwide honored as a tennis All-American by the National High School Tennis All-American Foundation, earning the honor in 2007 and 2008 ? Member of three junior Davis Cup teams ? Earned six varsity letters in tennis ? Earned the USTA national sportsmanship award in 2008 and the USTA Northern Section sportsmanship honor in 2007 ? Won nearly 50 USTA junior tournaments and won nearly 400 USTA matches ? Ranked as high as No. 25 in USTA and No.31 by tennisrecruiting.net ? Finalist of under-16 national open and reached quarterfinals of under-18 national open ? Finalist in doubles at under-18 national open ? Graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.
