Dino Bilankov is in his first year as the team[apos]s Undergraduate Student Assistant Coach. He played tennis for the Golden Gophers from 2006 to 2010, captaining the team during his junior and senior seasons. He compiled a 70-42 singles record over his collegiate career. Bilankov was recognized as an ITA Scholar-Athlete and named to the Academic All-Big Ten team twice.
In 2008-09, he won the team[apos]s Len Bailey Grit and Determination Award after battling through injuries during the start of the spring. He finished that season with five straight wins and victories in 11 of his last 13 matches. For his efforts during his senior year in 2009-10, he was honored with the University[apos]s Outstanding Achievement Award, presented to the top male student-athlete in any sport.
Bilankov earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in communication as a dual-degree student.
