2017 SPRING SEASON
Went 5-1 in singles play • Finished 3-1 in the No. 6 position and was 1-0 in both the No. 4 and No. 5 spot • Began the spring season with wins against South Dakota State 6-0, 6-1 and Marquette 6-1, 6-4. • in only appearance in the No. 4 spot, defeated Travis Lau of North Dakota 6-2, 6-0 • in only match in the No. 5 slot, defeated Charlie Ridout of Green Bay 6-2, 6-0 • Won first five matches of the spring season.
2016 FALL SEASON
Went 7-1 in singles play and 3-4 in doubles • picked up his first two collegiate victories at the ITA Central Region Championships • went 5-0 in singles at the Gopher Invitational • won the Maroon draw at the Gopher Invite with partner Josip Krstanovic.
PRIOR TO MINNESOTA
Graduated from Marvin Ridge High School • has been named all-conference, all-county and all-state every season of his high school career • led his team to the state championship as a captain last season • won the North Carolina AAA Individual Championship his senior season • was named the Charlotte Observer North Carolina Player of the Year • went 33-0 in singles during 2016 • was ranked 78 in the US • represented North Carolina in Regional Zonal competitions in 2014 and 2015 • has trained at the Johan Kriek and Tim Wilkison Academy • graduated summa cum laude.

Plans to major in business • son of Claudine and Kevin Lovitt • lists winning the 2016 North Carolina individual and team state titles as his most memorable sports thrills • has two sisters: Lindsey (17) and Laueren (14) • enjoys video games, movies, hockey and collecting shoes • father, Kevin, played hockey at Brown University from 1977- 1981 • born July 25, 1997.
