MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota men's tennis team earned one doubles victory and went winless in singles The Minnesota men's tennis team wrapped up play at the Gopher Invitational Sunday at the Baseline Tennis Center with three doubles matches. The Gophers won two of the three contests to finish the weekend with a 6-6 record.

Minnesota completed singles play Saturday at 9-11, led by 2-1 Jack Hamburg and 2-0 Eric Frueh.

Hamburg and fellow junior Mathieu Froment starred in doubles on the weekend, going 4-0 in the top flight, capping their run with an 8-6 win over DePaul's Filip Dzanko and David Vieyra Sunday.

Franz Sydow and Ruben Weber dropped an 8-3 decision in their match, but Jeremy Lynn and Tucker Saxon took down the Blue Demons' Tim Corwin and Adam Reinhart, 8-6.

Minnesota will conclude its fall schedule Nov. 8-10 at the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Claycourt Tennis Tournament in Sarasota, Fla.
