Gophers Match Up with B1G Rival Badgers in Exhibition

MINNEAPOLIS – The Gopher Rowing team will close out a successful fall season by matching up with Big Ten and border rival Wisconsin in a scrimmage this weekend in Madison. Please note, the start time has been pushed back from 10:30 a.m. until 2:15 p.m.
RACE COURSE
Lake Mendota features three race courses: one along the south edge just in front of the University of Wisconsin Boathouse, one on the east end of the lake near Burrows Park, and on the North side near Governor Nelson Park. The scrimmage will make use of the Porter Boathouse course.
FORMAT
The event will not feature a full race, but rather five, five-minute "sprints" at race speed for the boats.
Due to the exhibition nature of the event, results will not be posted following the races.
