GOPHERS IN THE RANKINGS

THE SPIN
Minnesota will open up the Big Ten season against border-rival Wisconsin in what could be a meaningful match in the conference standings come the end of the season. Wisconsin went tot he wire with Oregon, losing 4-3, while Minnesota lost 4-1 early in the season to the Ducks. While Wisconsin touts a very strong doubles game, Minnesota has only lost the doubles point once this season, signifying how crucial the point will be for both teams. Look for the winner of the doubles point to have a good chance at winning the match for either squad.
