Four Gophers will be making their fourth and final appearance at Big Tens this week. Seniors Lindsey Kozelsky, Madison Preiss, Tevyn Waddell and Katherine Wagner will have one more go at the conference's penultimate event, as each member of the quadruplet will aim to extend their careers in Maroon and Gold with bids to next month's NCAA Championships.
LAST TIME OUT
In Minnesota's last outing, the team came away with not one, but two wins in a Big Ten triple dual in West Lafayette, Ind. Competing against Purdue and Northwestern, the Gophers swam exceedingly well, defeating the Boilermakers, 233-129, and the Wildcats, 188-165.
FIRST PLACE FINISHES
Kozelsky and freshman Jordan McGinty each delivered multiple first place finishes during the Big Ten tri-dual. Kozelsky sped her way to wins in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.50) and 200 breast (2:12.87), while McGinty claimed the top spot in the 100 freestyle (50.96) and 200 free (1:50.20)
