ABOUT THE CLYDE HART CLASSIC
Minnesota's second outdoor meet of the season will feature a plethora of quality talent with the likes of Baylor, Michigan, Iowa State, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas all competing in Waco. The meet is scheduled to begin Friday, March 22, at 11 a.m. with the women's hammer throw and will conclude on Saturday at 6:10 p.m. with the men's 4x400m relay. The meet will not be streamed with live results available via DeltaTiming.

LAST TIME OUT
The Minnesota Golden Gophers began their 2024 outdoor track and field campaign in Miami, Fla., at the Miami Hurricanes Invitational at Cobb Stadium. The 'U' had the top college finisher in six different events over the two-day meet.

Minnesota's short sprinters were outstanding all weekend long with Devin Augustine's 100m performance arguably being the best. The returning 4x100m relay All-American opened his outdoor season with a matchup with a number of professionals and came out third overall in a time of 10.16, a lifetime best for the Trinidad & Tobago native who is second all-time at the University of Minnesota.

GOPHERS REWRITE PROGRAM TOP 10 RECORDS
Minnesota had 13 different performances that landed on the program's all-time top 10 outdoor lists while in Florida. The highest was Augustine's 10.16 in the 100m, which landed him at the No. 2 spot in program history. On the women's side the highest new program top 10 performance came from Anthonett Nabwe in the discus with a throw of 55.76m (182-11) which lands her at No. 3 in school history and the longest throw since 2022 (Shelby Frank).
