Gophers Conclude Season with Banquet

The Golden Gophers celebrated the 2016-17 season at their annual swimming and diving banquet. The event held on campus on Saturday recognized team accomplishments and award winners. Minnesota's coaching staff, academics staff and David Plummer presented the awards.
In addition to the current student-athletes, former team captain Gil LaLonde received special recognition for his continued dedication to the program. LaLonde spoke about his experience diving in college and in masters competition, and called this award the proudest moment of his life.
