2020 B1G Indoor Championships Rewind
A year ago, the Gophers earned a pair of top-three B1G team finishes as the Minnesota women finished as team runner-up and the Gopher men came in third overall at the 2020 Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships. The women recorded 99 points, trailing B1G champion Ohio State by just five points. On the men's side, Indiana took home the team title with 120.5 points, followed by runner-up Iowa (107 points) and Minnesota (88.5 points). In total, the Gophers finished the meet with eight All-Big Ten award recipients led by All-Big Ten First Team honoree and men's triple jump champion Sammie Houston

2020-21 B1GXC Championships Rewind
Bethany Hasz won the 2020-21 Big Ten Women's Cross Country Championships individual crown to lead the Gopher women to a runner-up team finish at the B1G meet last weekend. Abby Kohut-Jackson joined B. Hasz in earning All-Big Ten accolades, landing on the All-B1GSecond Team with an eighth-place individual finish. The women's team scored 76 points behind B1G team champion Michigan State with 48 points. It marked the second time the Gopher women have finished as B1G runner-up in the past four seasons. On the men's side, the Gophers finished seventh in the team standings led by top-20 individual finishes from Alec Basten (17th) and Jordan MacIntosh (20th). In addition, Allison Gerads led the Gophers as pentathlon runner-up at the Illini B1G Multi-Meet on Saturday.

Weekly Awards
The Gophers have secured four weekly awards this season as Bethany Hasz and Alec Basten were honored for their performances at the season-opening Hawkeye Border Battle. Hasz was named both the USTFCCCA National Track Athlete of the Week and Big Ten Conference Track Athlete of the Week following her performance in the 3,000 meters while Basten was named B1G Co-Track Athlete of the Week after clocking a career-best 4:03.36 mile at the Hawkeye Border Battle to move into eighth in Gophers' history. Most recently, Amira Young was named B1G Co-Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 60m and the 200m at the Husker Quad and improving on her own Minnesota program record in the 200m.
